Growing up in South Africa, I was always eager to photograph everyone. It was always a dream to become a photographer, unfortunately at that time there was very limited access and exposure to photography in South Africa.
After school, I moved to London, UK where I lived for 6 years before moving to California 4 years ago with my husband.

Thanks to a fellow photographer, who inspired me to get into photography again, I feel I finally found my vocation in life! I love capturing those special moments in a child's life. I believe it's the pout, timid look, bold smile or funny face, that show your child's personality, which are so often overlooked and are the moments we appreciate the most, that take you back in time. A good portrait should evoke emotion, and that is the type of portraits I strive for. My 3 year old daughter has been a great inspiration and my inclination towards child & family photography.

My style is to capture the natural personality behind the image, the love and joy you feel for each other. Although I love posed images, candid images have magic. I use natural light in a relaxed environment like a park, beach or your home where you & your family may feel more comfortable.
