BEFORE THE SHOOT
Get Excited! It’s going to be a fun day spent with your family, just think of me as the fly on the wall, with a camera:-) Kids sessions go better if they are well rested with full tummies.
We will discuss over the phone, by e-mail or in person what you expect from your photographs and what you plan to do with them, hang them on the wall, create an album, photo wall, one large image to hang over the fireplace. If you would like b&w images, I will include them in your proofs. By addressing these details beforehand we can ensure your pictures meet your goals.
AFTER THE SHOOT
Approximately 2 weeks after your session we will set up an appointment to go over your proofs. You will be presented with a 4x6 bound proof book which will include approximately 25 thoughtfully edited images. From your proof book, you decide which images you would like to purchase from one of my packages. See Pricing.
Please include everyone that is involved in your final decisions. Other family members are welcome to join to place their orders as well. Your prints are ordered from a professional lab which will be ready within 2 weeks of your order being placed.
WHAT TO WEAR
You may wear whatever you feel represents your character. Does your daughter wear her tutu all day, does your son permanently have his buzz lightyear with him, bring them. My goal is to capture your personalities. Some families like to coordinate their clothing which is totally up to you. Layers and textures with pops of color are always a winner - bring a few changes for different looks. I only ask that you refrain from any graphics, logos and white clothing on sunny days, as this reflects the sun and distracts from your face. For newborns and babies in general, outfits should be extremely simple or left off entirely.
